Monica Whiting, Esq. MBA is a licensed Attorney, Homebuilder, Real Estate Broker and Title Insurance Agent, with a passion for educating and advocating in the areas of Real Estate, Estate Planning and other areas of Business Law. Prior to starting The Whiting Law Group, our lead attorney, served in several leadership roles within different healthcare organizations and corporations in and around Alabama. Some of these roles included Director of Managed Care and Executive Director of a statewide network, where she oversaw Operations, Compliance, Financials, and Marketing for over 3000 healthcare providers, including physicians, hospitals and ancillary providers.

Monica received her B.S. in Health Information Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, her M.B.A. from Samford University and her J.D. from Birmingham School of Law, where she served as Senior Editor on the Southern Region Law Students Journal Review Board.

While working in a very demanding corporate leadership position in healthcare, Monica found herself being most intrigued when she worked on teams to explore options around building or buying new healthcare sites—specifically all the analyses and planning around choosing prime real estate locations. She had a passion for all things real estate. So Monica decided to study the industry and gain experience working part-time as a realtor, before launching her Real Estate Brokerage, HER Real Estate Solutions.

Owning a Real Estate Brokerage allowed her to witness first-hand, how Real Estate can be used to create and build wealth—allowing people the opportunity to leave a lasting financial legacy for generations to come. Monica also witnessed how miseducation and a lack of information about the Real Estate industry could result in property disputes, judicial foreclosures and even bankruptcy proceedings. As a result, Monica has been using her expertise in the Real Estate industry, gained as a Realtor and Home Builder to educate and advocate for the clients of The Whiting Law Group.
